(SVS) was founded in 1977 as a small after school program for teenagers with autism in Manhattan Beach. The Hong Fook Community-Based Adult Services Centers are located near Oakland's Chinatown in the beautifully restored and historic Hotel Oakland. We help frail elderly and adults with disabilities regain their ability to live independently and ease the need for family care by providing health services and therapeutic activities in a safe and supportive environment. Our multilingual staff members speak Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, and Vietnamese as well as English. Our diverse staff members care about the health, safety, and well-being of each of our participants. Our staff include multidisciplinary professionals such as registered nurses, speech therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, dietitians, social workers, and activities coordinators. Our Hong Fook Community-Based Adult Services Centers are licensed by the California Department of Public Health and the California Department of Aging.

OVER 21 - OAKLAND 3125-EAST 15TH STREET OAKLAND CA 94601 (510) 533-0115	Over 21 was founded in 1982 under a Program Development Fund grant from the Department of Developmental Services. We consider ourselves to be an extension of the special education system and are dedicated to providing continuing instruction in daily living skills and personal growth to all of our students. Community access and involvement is an integral part of our program philosophy. Although programming is provided at our facility locations in Oakland and Hayward, each student is afforded the opportunity to access the community. We have access to a number of community resources, public transportation and vocational training sites. Funding is provided through the Regional Center, however fund raising and donations is essential to our continued service.
