The mission of ASEB (Alzheimer’s Services of the East Bay) is to provide services to individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and other related dementia; provide support to their caregivers; and educate and inform the general community about issues related to dementia care. ASEB (Alzheimer’s Services of the East Bay) operates two state-licensed Adult Day Health Care (ADHC) programs at centers in Berkeley and Hayward. Our newest site in Fremont opens this fall on the campus of the Dominican Sisters of Mission San Jose. ASEB Adult Day programs have been recognized by the respected Robert Wood Johnson Foundation as a model for its nationwide Partners in Caregiving Demonstration Project. |

Mission-Hope Day Program is an Adult Day Care licensed by Community Care Licensing, and a Behavior Management Program vendored by the Regional Center of the East Bay. We are operated by a team of "pro-participant" individuals with valuable and productive years of experience that helped them succeed in the health care services field. We have a back-up of consultants experienced in their fields; a Psychologist, a Recreational Therapist, an Occupational Therapist, and a Speech Pathologist. Community resources in our midst are also part of who we are. We are all here for the purpose of enhancing our participants' lives. |

Over 21 was founded in 1982 under a Program Development Fund grant from the Department of Developmental Services. We consider ourselves to be an extension of the special education system and are dedicated to providing continuing instruction in daily living skills and personal growth to all of our students. Community access and involvement is an integral part of our program philosophy. Although programming is provided at our facility locations in Oakland and Hayward, each student is afforded the opportunity to access the community. We have access to a number of community resources, public transportation and vocational training sites. Funding is provided through the Regional Center, however fund raising and donations is essential to our continued service. |

Dungarvin is a national organization of privately owned companies that are dedicated to providing high quality, community-based supports to people with developmental disabilities. Founded in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1976, Dungarvin has grown to employ approximately 3,000 people who provide supports to over 2,200 individuals in 14 states. |

(SVS) was founded in 1977 as a small after school program for teenagers with autism in Manhattan Beach. In the 35 years since its establishment, SVS has grown to serve over 4000 individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities throughout California. We offer a wide variety of services to meet the needs and interests of a diverse population. SVS Employ America is our CARF accredited paid work program for adults with developmental disabilities. Employment Specialists develop jobs for clients based on their interests and abilities. |

This program is for individuals over the age of 18, are Regional Center of the East Bay clients with a case manager, who wish to partake in programming that is both on site and in the community. Participants should be motivated for volunteer, social, recreational, life, and community building skills sets. Stamina/movement development and daily exercises are strongly encouraged. Occasional paid work may be provided. Both the Union City and Hayward locations accept clients who are ambulatory and nonambulatory, while the San Leandro site serves only ambulatory clients. Walpert (Hayward) has a second AV program for individuals who are hard of hearing or are deaf. |
