LAS TRAMPAS:ACCESSART is a program providing a supportive learning and work environment for people with developmental, physical and emotional disabilities. Our mission is to encourage and sustain creative development, work skills and social integration of people with developmental, physical and emotional disabilities, so that they are more fully able to function as active members of the community. Artists are offered the opportunity to produce, exhibit and market their work through the LAS TRAMPAS:ACCESSART gallery and are supported by community outreach and inclusion in existing fine arts venues. LAS TRAMPAS:ACCESSART goal is to facilitate creative development and advance artistic accomplishment. This program is dedicated to the idea that artists with disabilities shall be integrated into the daily cultural life of the community and contribute their creative identity to the fabric of society. In recent years public awareness of the art of people with disabilities has grown from a marginal interest to a major component of the cultural life of our society. As people with disabilities have become more visible and active so have their creative contributions been recognized. LAS TRAMPAS:ACCESSART provides a creative focus for the energies of artists with disabilities and advocates with them for increased inclusion in all aspects of community life. Building upon a foundation of excellence. LAS TRAMPAS:ACCESSART is a program with an extensive foundation in the field of services for people with developmental disabilities as well as expertise with community based art programs. They are committed to excellent service for artists with disabilities, and are capable of establishing an outstanding level of program wherever a need may exist. Mission-Hope Day Program is an Adult Day Care licensed by the Community Care Licensing and is a Behavior Management Program vendored by the Regional Center of the East Bay. We are operated by a team of “pro-participant†individuals with valuable and productive years of experience that helped them succeed in the health care services field. We have a back-up of consultants experienced in their fields; a Psychologist, a Recreational Therapist, an Occupational Therapist, a Speech Pathologist. Community resources in our midst are also part of who we are. We are all here for the purpose of enhancing our participants’ lives. |

GARDEN is one of the programs of Futures Explored, Inc. Futures provides support to individuals in the areas of personal care, social recreation, advocacy, vocation and education, based on each person's individual needs and interests. The GARDEN Program serves adults with significant cognitive and physical disabilities who may also have specialized health needs. The individuals served typically require assistance with feeding and personal care and may also require routine health care during the program day, such as: medication administration; feedings via G-tube; blood sugar testing; oxygen use etc. The GARDEN Program has a Nurse that provides training to all staff in case of such health care needs. |

CISS GUIDE Program (Guiding Unique Individuals Developing Excellence!) is a vocational training service for people with special needs. We offer vocational training in office clerical work, simple landscaping work, and janitorial work. Currently our work crews earn $8.00 per hour for work on each job they are involved in. Each client works at their own pace, with emphasis on safety, training, following through on responsibilities, and working as a team. Each client is assessed and placed into work enclaves. All jobs are supervised by trained personnel with an emphasis on safety and performing with integrity and excellence. Currently GUIDE has 10 openings for placement as of November 1, 2010.
