Details: In 1998, Southport Presbyterian Church opened their adult day service ministry. Through the years this ministry faithfully served those seeking safety, companionship and engagement in the community. Many are no longer able to stay at home alone safely due to basic aging or a variety of diagnoses. Joy’s House Adult Day Service seamlessly assumed operations of Southport Adult Day Center on July 1, 2014 and continued to serve the established community of Guests and their caregivers is a vital part of the Joy’s House mission. Now Joy’s House at UIndy has a new location just south of the University of Indianapolis campus and is welcoming new families.
