Details: Elder Alternative Adult Day Service is the destination of choice for caregivers seeking a caring, stimulating, structured, and safe environment to send their loved ones during the day. Center staff partner with primary caregivers to serve the need of adults challenged with a variety of conditions and limitations. Elder Alternative offers a win/win situation for everyone in the family not only the participant, but also for the family member who has primary responsibility as caregiver. The program provides a much-needed respite for the caregiver, affording a break from the physical demands, and stress of providing round-the-clock care. Adults 18 years or older, or those with health impairments that limit their involvement in daily activities are eligible to enroll in this service. A full-time on-site registered nurse monitors individual’s health and medications while at the Center. The Center makes this service affordable to everyone by providing a private pay sliding fee scale and accept Medicaid Waiver, Veteran’s Administration, CHOICE and have scholarship funding is available.
