Details: UCP of Sacramento and Northern California is the leading provider of comprehensive services to children and adults with all developmental disabilities and their families. UCP works with 3,300 people a month in our eight-county area, empowering children and adults who – without support – would be isolated from community. Discovering Options: Serving adults with severe physical disabilities who may have autism, epilepsy, intellectual disability, Down syndrome or cerebral palsy, the primary objective of this program is to increase independent living skills through integrated community experiences. Activities include basic instruction in computer skills, practical math and reading, mobility training and functional living skills.
