Details: CVTC’s ultimate goal is to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in replacing challenging behaviors with more appropriate, socially acceptable behaviors. It is our philosophy to utilize non-aversive behavior management skills and techniques consistent with the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis coupled with training and curriculum that enhances a person’s coping and life skills. Our Day Programs are located throughout the Central Valley of California which includes locations in Stockton, Modesto, Merced, two in Fresno, and Visalia. Within the design of each program is a “walls-free,†community-based component by which services and training are provided solely in the community. This offers the opportunity for individuals in both the cities where our physical programs are located as well as outlying rural areas to receive needed services.
