Human Service Alliance shall enroll participants under the following conditions: Accept individuals for whom they are able to provide the service the participant requires and as authorized; Ensure there are sufficient skilled staff available on site to deliver service to the consumers enrolled in Adult Day Health; No participant shall be enrolled in Adult Day Health who has pressure sores or wounds that are not healing, who require continuous nursing assessment or intervention, who has draining wounds for which draining cannot be contained nor for those whose needs are beyond the level of fire safety provided by Human Service Alliance. Human Service Alliance will ensure sufficient personnel are on site to assure the safe and proper care of participants to meet the physical and cognitive status of the participants and ensure the size and layout of the facility meets the needs of the participants being serves. Staff participant ratio shall be a minimum of one staff to 6 participants. Adult Day Health at Human Service Alliance includes opportunities for watching movies, doing crafts, socialization, snacking, playing games, napping, and playing with the Wii. Adult Day Health includes recreational activities, maintenance of self-help skills, assistance with activities of daily living, provisions for trips to social functions and/or provision for special diets. |

The Bingham Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center provides adult day services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in addition to its nursing home services. Our specialized program furnishes a safe, secure environment with mentally stimulating social activities and exercises, all at an affordable price. Each of our guests receive nutritious meals and snacks that can be tailored to their specific dietary needs. We provide our guests assistance with eating, walking, toileting, and taking medications. For a nominal fee, we can also offer personal care services such as bathing, shampooing, and shaving. The Adult Day Services program was designed for people who need assistance to function independently in the community, but do not need a 24 hour supervised living situation. These may be individuals who are physically and cognitively impaired, socially isolated, or people needing assistance with personal care. Your loved one will feel right at home with a comfortable room for resting and privacy, and you can feel confident in the caring and compassionate services provided by the Bingham Extended Care Facility. We are staffed with registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, and connected with a full service hospital. |

A supervised and structured service generally furnished for four or more hours per day on a regularly scheduled basis, for one or more days per week. Adult Daycare is designed to provide care and companionship for seniors who need assistance or supervision during the day. The program will offer relief to family members of caregivers and allow them the freedom to go to work, handle personal business or just relax while knowing their relatives are cared for and safe. We will start the day with tea or coffee, and the morning paper to keep abreast of current events, discussion about what is going on in the world. We have exersize time, puzzles, games, music and socializing, including events planned for holidays and birthdays. A monthly schedule will be available to participants and family members. Adult Daycare is generally not covered by insurance. Some financial assistance may be available through Medicaid, The Older Americans Act or the Veterans Administration. |
