Millennium Center for Performing Arts MCPA

Plymouth MN 55441

Driven by a mission to provide participants of all ages with the strong artistic, intellectual and practical foundation of music and drama, the Adult Arts Center serves older adults and persons with disabilities who need a higher level of care, but can still benefit from receiving services in a group setting. MCPA provides the means to actively explore the beauty, diversity, complexity and challenges of the world around us through the dramatic and musical process. We offer a unique model of an arts-based alternative social services and enrichment program. We strive for our artists to develop their own unique creative voice, their imagination and their understanding of music and drama and its role in society. We hope to build stronger and more viable communities through inclusion of so often forgotten members of society who are part of the diverse fabric of Minnesota’s culture.

Community Connections Partnership (CCP) is a non-profit organization in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area providing support to people with disabilities. We specialize in the areas of employment, skill development, healthy lifestyles, community supports, and recreation opportunities. Our dedicated staff are committed to uncovering each person’s potential and supporting them step by step in their growth and development. We work in a spirit of partnership with the people we serve and their team members to achieve positive results. All of Community Connection Partnership supports are open to adults with intellectual (developmental) disabilities and/or mental illness. Many of the people we serve also need support with challenges such as autism spectrum disorder and severe and persistent mental illness, as well as chronic illness or physical impairments. No matter what a person’s diagnosis or needs are, we believe everyone has something to contribute and seek to create a supportive environment where this can happen.
