Details: My name is Jorge Manzur and my son, Roberto Manzur, has Down Syndrome. Roberto is 27 years old and enjoys cooking, dancing, singing, as well as spending time with his friends. Some of which have Autism, Down Syndrome, and other disabilities. But one thing all of Roberto’s friends have in common, is that they are all angels from heaven. A dream of mine was to build a center where individuals with disabilities could have a place to learn and grow while having fun. On July 28, 2010, I proudly opened the Dream House. The Dream House is a place where your loved ones can learn valuable academic and social skills through classes that we offer our clients. They will learn how to use money, tell time, cook, dance, exercise, as well as attending weekly field trips to Zoo’s, Fair’s, Amusement Parks, Movies and much more! Together we can achieve what others deemed impossible and make many happy- knowing that they have a special place where they can be anything or anyone they wish. They will share precious moments with their friends and family for FREE. At The Dream House your loved one will be under one on one supervision and receiving one on one assistance, if needed. We promote a safe and loving environment.
