Cornerstone opened the first adult day center in Rhode Island in 1973 and now has five locations in Rhode Island. Throughout its history, Cornerstone has been providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for its participants. Services during the day include: nursing care, nutritious meals, physical exercise and enriching activities. In 1987, Cornerstone established the first dementia-specific day center in Rhode Island. Cornerstone's Memory Care Center is located on Warwick Neck Avenue in Warwick. Other Cornerstone locations include: Apponaug/Warwick, Coventry, Bristol, and Little Compton. Cornerstone also administers the Rhode Island Volunteer Guardian Program.
