DayBreak programs offer a full range of health and social services to help older adults with physical, emotional, or mental impairments, or who require supervision and/or medical care. Services enable older adults to remain independent for as long as possible, while allowing caregivers relief from the responsibilities of at-home caregiving so they can fulfill work or other obligations. Eddy DayBreak at Rensselaer - an award-winning social day program that provides a safe, supervised environment that enables older clients to maintain an active lifestyle while still being able to enjoy the comforts of home. Winner of the 1999 New York State Intergenerational Network Program Award, this program also features creative arts therapy with on-site music, art and dance therapists to work with seniors.
