Details: Based upon individual assessment of functional abilities and health needs, STEP provides training and accessible workplace routines in the following: Communication Recreation and Leisure Skill Development; Community Integration; Computer Skills; Independent Living Skills; Activities of Daily Living; Self-Advocacy; Basic Education; Vocational Development. Working together with your family and the San Diego Regional Center, STEP helps you develop skills that lead to a better future. Your goals and dreams determine the shape and direction of your program. Special attention is paid to your preferences and personal needs. Accessible, adaptive technology is incorporated into the daily schedule or curriculum to facilitate training. Some services such as assistance with medication administration, enteral feeding/hydration, personal care, etc. are available for individuals with specialized needs.
