Details: The Arc San Francisco is a non-profit service and advocacy organization for adults with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families living in San Francisco and San Mateo counties. Whether just out of high school or approaching retirement, adults at The Arc can find the activities and skills training appropriate to pursuing their interests, all with help and support from staff instructors. Through The Arc’s Community Training Services, clients who are not yet fully independent enjoy community-based activities in small peer groups with a dedicated instructor who facilitates building friendships, better decision-making and healthier lifestyle choices through educational, vocational, social and recreational activities.
