Details (Max 1000 characters):: At The Heritage House Assisted Living & Adult Day Care Community, located in Las Cruces NM, we specialize in providing pleasant and caring services and companionship. Our homes are designed with our elderly residents in mind. We provide a spacious bedroom and bath to each resident. We also offer community rooms, both indoor and outdoor, where new friends are made. We provide assistance with personal care, activities of daily living, laundry and housekeeping, and three delicious, meals to look forward to, prepared by our two dedicated cooks. We also manage outings and activities and above all we provide sincere companionship. The Doctor is in and making house calls! We are one of only a few assisted living communities to have a Medical Director. Dr. Louis Benevento is a board certified, Internal Medicine physician with many geriatric patients in Las Cruces. We also have a Wellness Director, who manages the patients/residents, assists with medications, provides patient/family education, coordinates with Hospice when necessary, addresses overall healthcare concerns, and sheâ€™s diligent about fall prevention. All of our staff is directed by a State licensed Health Care Administrator, Trevas Younger. It will be evident to you after one tour or visit that she has a special fondness for this segment of the population. Our CareGiver to resident ratio is 1:6 probably the best in Las Cruces. The DOH requires 1:15 which is not adequate. We also provide Respite Care for an occasional night, weekend or vacation break for the caregiver or family members. In addition, we are a fully-licensed, Adult Day Care in Las Cruces offering hourly, half or full day, care for seniors or developmentally disabled. We offer dementia services, but we maintain independence for our residents and are not a locked unit. We also coordinate with the Sheriffâ€™s department, Save a Life, GPS tracking.We offer value in our fixed pricing and have no hidden points or costly surprises at the end of the month.
