Located at 30 Barra Road in Biddeford, the Sam L. Cohen center will support up to 50 members daily. The center also offers caregiver support through classes, workshops, and one-on-one outreach. Incorporating the latest research in environmental gerontology, The Sam L. Cohen Center provides a home away from home experience for members. The use of warm colors, comfortable furnishings, and decorative touches make the center an inviting and engaging space that allows the staff to fully implement a person-centered program for each of our members. Different activity spaces, such as a therapeutic kitchen, arts and crafts room, a quiet room, a living room, and great room, help members enjoy activities and entertainment that decrease boredom, increase positive social interactions, and improve overall health and well-being. The Sam L. Cohen Center also features an enclosed garden patio where members can enjoy the outside in a safe way without feeling constrained or restricted.
