Details (Max 1000 characters):: The Marian E. Burch Adult Day Care Center was built in 1992 and is a 16,000 square foot handicapped accessible building. The Center currently has approximately 100 clients enrolled and has a capacity of 60 per day. The Center is located in Battle Creek but is able to provide services to any area individuals in Calhoun County. During the day, the participant will engage in a wide variety of activities plus, physical, speech, and occupational therapies if needed. A noon meal and morning and afternoon snacks are provided. Personal care services are an important feature at the Center. The Center is able to handle skilled care clients who have special needs such as tube feedings and necessary injections. The Center provides transportation to and from the Center. All of these services allow for the client to have multiple needs met during his or her visit to the Center.
