Details (Max 1000 characters):: With our active senior citizen community at Governorâ€™s Glen in Atlanta, we are able offer high quality adult daycare services. For the adult daycare option, senior citizens who suffer from dementia, Alzheimerâ€™s disease, or other memory disorders can stay at Governorâ€™s Glen for any eight hour period of a twenty four hour day. Whereas most other adult daycare facilities only allow program participants to stay for an eight hour period during normal work hours from 8 AM to 6 PM, Governorâ€™s Glen adult daycare program has no regulated hours. Seniors can stay for any eight hour period during a twenty four hour period. Every adult daycare participant at Governorâ€™s Glen is provided with the same high quality personal care that our respite care visitors or assisted living residents receive. Each participant will have their own private room with furniture provided as well as three meals and two snacks prepared by our staff chef. Adult daycare participants will also benefit from the presence of our staff nurse. Our friendly, attentive staff members are trained to interact with and provide care for senior citizens with varying levels of cognitive impairment from dementia, Alzheimerâ€™s disease, and other memory disorders. Even though our adult daycare is a non-residential program, participants can still benefit from the active community centered on our wide range of activities and amenities at Governorâ€™s Glen. Because our goal is to improve the quality of life of all of our program participants through socialization and stimulation of the body and mind, residents, and adult daycare participants alike can benefit from the vibrant community with exercise classes, social events, an on-site beauty parlor and barber shop, and an entertainment area.
