Details (Max 1000 characters):: At Easter Seals-Goodwill Adult Day, elderly adults and individuals with medical or physical disabilities take part in social and recreational activities in a safe and structured environment. This program is designed for families with aging parents or family members with physical disabilities who are unable to stay home alone safely during the day. Adult Day services enable family members and caregivers to work outside the home, or receive respite from round-the-clock caregiving, knowing their loved one is in a secure and well supervised environment. Trained staff members engage participants in a variety of interesting and fun activities and community outings, while providing assistance with feeding, toileting and ambulation as needed. The Adult Day program is open days Monday through Friday and short- or long-term participation is welcomed. Individuals, along with their family members and caregivers work with our staff to develop a individualized plan of care. Participants and their families are free to set a schedule for attendance that fits their specific situation. Transportation arrangements are also available.
