Details (Max 1000 characters):: The founding premise for our Adult Services Program is that families and consumers know the best way to meet their own needs in order to achieve maximum community integration and independence throughout their life. Special Kids Special Families (SKSF) Adult Day Programs use mentorship, flexibility, understanding of family and home care provider concerns, and incorporates the individualâ€™s desires, goals, interests, skills and dreams to develop plans for their consumers. Adult mentors and host homes use these tools to develop educational opportunities, natural supports and a sense of self determination for the individual with disabilities as they begin to venture out on their own and become an active part of the community. SKSF offers several programs to accommodate these special individuals.
