Details (Max 1000 characters):: JABA offers two Adult Care Centers located in Albemarle and Louisa Counties. JABAâ€™s Shining Star Preschools are located next to each ACC providing a full day of fun, a caring staff and intergenerational activities and outings. Transportation to and from an ACC may be arranged through outside sources such as JAUNT. The ACC's specialize in personâ€“centered care plans and Alzheimerâ€™s and dementia care. If your loved one needs a safe place that will provide assistance with activities of daily living such as eating and bathing, call one of our centers for a tour and complimentary lunch. JABAâ€™s ACC specializes in caring for the aged population but also welcomes the disabled ages 18 years and older. JABAâ€™s free Health Services are offered at each center. JABA takes time to care for caregivers as well. Each center offers free caregiver support groups, including respite care during the sessions.
