Details (Max 1000 characters):: Our Adult Daycare Service is great for seniors who are still able to live at home but need assistance with daily living skills. Adult Daycare Service allows caregivers to maintain a daily schedule, such as running errands or going to work, while knowing that their loved one is in a safe and engaging environment. Services are provided during the day and/or evening in a group setting and seniors then return to their home at the end of the night. Seniors who participate in our Adult Daycare Service program will receive health, social and support services in addition to time filled with enjoyable and social activities. Our Adult Daycare Service is another program in our continuum of care designed to keep seniors in their home as long as possible. Adult Daycare Service works best when seniors who attend are still social and interested in activity. Early involvement in this program can help keep seniors active and involved. Having participated in Adult Daycare Service can also be valuable if the senior must transition into a nursing home at some point, as he or she will already have some familiarity with the facility. Seniors must have a physician's order to take part in this service.
