The Day Center often inspires friendships among guests while offering quality care by experienced professionals. Adults with physical and/or cognitive challenges often require assistance to remain living at home or with family members. Initially, family or friends may provide the assistance needed. However, providing needed care and assistance everyday- 24/7 is a tough job. For those employed outside the home, care giving can become the equivalent of taking on a second job. It can also create physical, economic, and emotional stress on caregivers. O'Neill's Adult Day Center provides daytime support and relief for caregivers - enabling families and other caregivers to continue caring for a loved one at home for as long as possible. The services and activities offered by O'Neill's Adult Day Program enable participants to receive the care that is needed and enjoy fun activities and companionship. Caregivers receive time away so they can continue to work, complete tasks, or just have time for themselves.
