Since 1984, Day Haven has been a pioneer in developing services to support elders in their desire to remain at home for as long as possible. Our goal is two-fold: to enhance quality of life and to support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical functioning. Our social model adult day services program provides daytime care for frail older adults and those with Alzheimerâ€™s or a related dementia. Experts agree that adult day services are vital to supporting quality of life and maintaining elders in their homes for as long as possible. Our therapeutic activities, professional and caring staff, and our fun and supportive environment enrich the daily life of our participants. We offer flexible scheduling and full or part time enrollment. Our commitment to caring ensures all participants are treated with the dignity and respect they deserve. Our knowledgeable staff including a social worker, recreation professionals and paraprofessionals can help you and your loved one make the transition to adult day services. They will also help you access other resources in the community.
