Details (Max 1000 characters):: The Continuumâ€™s ReGenerationâ€™s Adult Day Club provides a daytime support alternative to adults 18 years or older and their caregivers in Reno/Sparks and the surrounding area. Club members vary in age and diagnosis; common challenges may include early to moderate dementia/Alzheimerâ€™s issues, stroke recovery, M.S., Parkinsonâ€™s, traumatic brain injury and other related issues. ReGenerationâ€™s Club Members are offered a variety of structured groups and activities to enhance functional capabilities and encourage independence allowing an individual to remain part of their home, family and community. The Continuum offers on site outpatient rehabilitation services to those participants who may benefit. We are the only intergenerational program in Northern Nevada allowing participants to interact daily with children from the Carousel, our on-site preschool. A monthly calendar of events and programs change with the seasons and current participant population. ReGenerationâ€™s club offers cost effective daytime respite for caregivers who may be currently working or needing respite to pursue daily tasks. times and schedules for respite are arranged by the Club member and their caregivers and vary from a suggested two visits to five days per week depending on individual needs.
