The center enables caregivers to continue working and provides respite from the 24/7 care needed; a great opportunity for you to restore, re-energize, and provide the best care for your loved one. ï»¿In addition to giving the family this vital respite, the center allows you, the caregiver, to get some time for shopping, banking, cleaning the house, etc. While you are taking care of chores and errands, your loved one can be cared for by The Salvation Army Henderson Adult Day Care. Participants may choose to attend full or half days on a schedule according to the needs of the individual and caregiver. For those who qualify, Medicaid and CHIPS pay for adult day care.
