Details (Max 1000 characters):: Capeway Adult Day Health Center Inc. was founded by our Executive Director in 1996 with the intention of creating a cost effective alternative to in-home care and nursing home placement for the frail elderly and adults with disabilities in the Greater New Bedford Area. Currently, Capeway is second home to more than 150 participants with various illnesses and limitations. Each member of our team - from the Nurses to the Activities Aides - has not only the educational and experiential requirements of adult day health services, but the necessary compassion to attend to your loved ones as they would to their own families. Our Executive Director was awarded the New Directions Employer Recognition Award in 1997 and the Americana Award for Outstanding Dedication to Bristol County in 1999. All of our senior staff members have been with us for at least 12 of our 13 years. In addition, we work in association with Coastline Elderly Services, Bristol Elder Service and Old Colony Elder Service.
