Devereux Pocono Programs and Services are dedicated to empowering each individual to discover their innate strengths, talents, and their potential to live a meaningful and productive life. Located throughout Northeast Pennsylvania, Pocono Programs and Services provide a wide array of quality programs and services to children, adolescents, and adults whose needs stem from intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, mental health disorders and challenging behaviors. The Adult Day Care at the Pocono Center serves a senior population with age-related disabilities and is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Aging. Adults can attend this six hour program daily or weekly as desired. Daily therapeutic activities focus on mobility, orientation, personal care, socialization and recreation. Meals, medication, nursing care and counseling services are provided on an as needed basis.
