Our mission at the Adult Day Care of Chester is to promote health, dignity and independence for frail elders, disabled adults and thier families. The goals are to maintain or improve the functional abilities of participants for as long as possible; to provide respite and support for the family and other caregivers; and to enable the participant to live in the least restrictive enivorment possible, thus promoting dignity and independence. The Adult Day Care of Chester's licensed and certified nursing staff manages personal care needs such as medication administration and monitoring, eating, toileting, and walking. Nurses are well trained to care for those with Alzheimers, Dementia, Parkinsons, and related conditions. Our staff is experienced with the challenges of these conditions and treats all of our care recipients with compassion and patience. When a medical emergency occurs, we are well equipped to respond quickly, safely, and efficiently.
