Adult Day Health Services are the best kept secret in senior and adult with disabilities care choices. Adult day Health Services help keep participants engaged physically and mentally and give caregivers a needed break. The Adult Day Health Services Center at Eastern Oklahoma County Technology Center provides a warm home-like environment. The program provides services by professionally trained staff and is designed to enhance the quality of life for the frail senior and adults with disabilities in our community. It is designed for adults residing in the community needing socialization, health monitoring and assistance during the day. Transportation, snacks, lunch, recreational activities, field trips, intergenerational programs, entertainment and generous attention are provided by our experienced staff. EOC Tech Adult Day Services program hosts students seeking practicum hours including: Health Careers, Emergency Medical Technician, Paramedic Training and Gerontology studies. Highschool students can earn community service hours particpating in a variety of activities. Contact us for more information. The EOC Tech Senior Adult Day Center is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The cost for an eight hour day is $60.00. The hourly rate is $7.50 for less than eight hours. Financial assistance is available through the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, Aging Services Division and Developmental Disabilities Services Division, Veterans Administration and Medicaid Advantage Waiver Program for Home and Community based services. Transportation is available on a limited basis in the surrounding areas including Choctaw, Harrah, Jones, Nicoma Park, Spencer and Midwest City.
