It began as Carbon County Healthcare Center in 1976 then, Cedar Wood Villa in 1992, and then in December 2012 it became Cedar Wood Healthcare Community. Over the years, the facility has transformed into a progressive skilled nursing facility and rehab facility. Our campus offers a continuum of care including short-term, long-term, adult day care, respite and memory care. We are conveniently located one block off main street in Red Lodge, Montana in the foothills of the beautiful Beartooth Mountains, gateway to one of America's most scenic highways. Our therapy department (provided by Beartooth Billings Clinic) has a reputation for outstanding advanced services in the areas of physical, occupational and speech therapy. Our short-term care unit specializes in ventilator care and other medically complex conditions, with the goal of rapid recovery and safe transitions. Additionally, we help keep our residents connected to the community with our handicapped-accessible coach.
