Details (Max 1000 characters):: The Adult Day Center is a very active and stimulating retreat for the elderly. An Adult Day Center is available to care for elderly and Alzheimer's Respite individuals who cannot be left at home by themselves. Trained PACS personnel plan daily activities and events with a variety of mental, social and physical stimulation designed for the individual's functional ability. Every client is given a choice of activities and the option to decline participation. Nutritional meals and snacks are provided all clients and the full services of the adjoining Senior Citizens Centers are available to all enrollees. Based upon pre-determined income levels, there may be no cost for these services. Final determination is made by the case manager during the application process. Clients may attend Adult Day Care from 8:30 AM until 1:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Transportation can be provided by a friend, relative or the PACS Transportation system.
