Their lives need enrichment and they need to be valued for the contributions they can still make. Enrichment and value can be found in abundance at Hugginsâ€™ Adult Day Program â€“ a warm, safe, cheerful place thatâ€™s a lot like your own living room. In between healthy snacks and a nourishing lunch, our highly experienced staff and trained volunteers keep program members challenged and entertained with games, music, crafts, exercise, cooking, reading, and conversation. Our program enriches the lives of caregivers too, by allowing you to run needed errands, catch up on your sleep, and renew your strength and peace in some quiet time. Our goal is to help you keep your loved ones living at home with you as long as possible. The benefits of an Adult Day Program are many. The social setting of the program can reduce the risk of depression due to isolation and improve mood and behavior. The many physical, mental, and social activities are also known to improve mental and physical health. Nutritious meals and snacks are developed by the hospital dietitians.
