Details (Max 1000 characters):: The Felician Adult Day Center is located on the beautiful Our Lady of The Angels Convent grounds in Enfield, Connecticut. Today the center gives cognitively impaired adults and their caregivers an innovative choice in health care. The center is a small home model in a historic mansion on the Felician grounds. The center has a high staff /client ratio that allows safe, warm, individualized care in a "home away from home setting". The centers capacity is twenty five clients with full time nursing supervision. This team of professionals is an essential component of the Felician Adult Day Center program. The team uses a collaborative approach to care planning and is called the Interdisciplinary Team. FADC is a sponsored ministry of the North American Province of the Felician Sisters. Felician Adult Day Center operates as an independent, non-profit agency that is governed by a volunteer board of directors as well as Felician Sister corporate oversight. Funding comes in the form of client fees, fundraisers, state and government funding and charitable donations. The Felician Adult Day Center is a unique program in the Northeastern Connecticut area.
