The Benedictine Health Center is a part of the Benedictine Health System which is entrusted with advancing the health care ministry of the Benedictine Sisters of Duluth, MN. The Benedictine Health Center is the regionâ€™s only full continuum of care available to serve individuals and families. Offering short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing care, senior housing, memory care, adult day services, outpatient therapy, and preschool; our core values frame the vision of our ministry of care. We provide compassionate care and competent service in an environment that enhances human worth. Adult day services are community-based programs which meet the health, social, recreational and therapeutic needs of elderly and disabled adults. Adult day services also provide much needed respite and peace of mind for family caregivers. At the Benedictine Health Center, our goal is to enable adults to maintain independence in the least restrictive environment while ensuring purposeful living and engagement. Adult Day Services offers caregivers the chance to take some time on their own to just relax and know their loved one is safe. As a caregiver you may want to run errands, schedule appointments, work, volunteer, socialize and rest without feeling torn trying to attend to the needs of another.
