Details (Max 1000 characters):: CARES (Community Aging and Retirement Services, Inc.) is a charitable, not for profit 501(c) (3) corporation that provides quality and caring services to meet the needs of older persons and their families in West Central Florida. We are a Medicare/Medicaid certified home health agency. CARES promotes quality of life and independence for adults through health, social, and supportive services. We work with health professionals, families, volunteers, donors and businesses who want elders to age positively and with dignity. CARES Adult Day Services is a unique center to experience activities, friendship and health care. Our program is designed for person-centered care primarily of older adults who can no longer manage independently. The person who attends the program gains their own sense of belonging and being able to have their own private place. Caregivers and family members who have any responsibility for the well-being of another adult get a much-needed relief from the challenges and stress of providing care.
