Tailored to the needs of the Japanese American elderly, this program is run bilingually and bi-culturally in Japanese and English by paid staff and volunteers. Yu-Ai Kai's Senior Day Services is open to adults 60 years or older who need support and help in their daily activities. All Senior Day Services' participants are asked to support the program with contributions based on a sliding scale. No one is denied service due to inability to pay. Senior Day Services is licensed by the State of California, Department of Social Services Community Care.
