Details (Max 1000 characters):: Innovative Center is an adult day program established to admit consumers with developmental disabilities. The facility specializes in providing care and support for consumers with restricted health conditions, subject to the approval of Community Care Licensing and in compliance with Section 82092.1, General Requirements for Restricted Health Conditions such as: 1) Colostomy and ileostomy; 2) Fecal impaction removal/enemas or suppositories; 3) Insulin dependent diabetes; 4) Gastrostomy; 5) Wound care; and 6) Inhalation assistive devices. A Registered Nurse (RN) is on-site daily. Our facility offers an experienced and compassionate staff, and a supportive environment that instills dignity, respect, self-reliance and responsibility. Our program provides various ways to accommodate each individual skill level. We use activity books, arts & crafts, computers and adaptive equipment to enhance our learning environment. It is our goal to improve our consumer's quality of life, health and become independent members of the society through their presence, participation and integration in the community.
