Details (Max 1000 characters):: The Rural Adult Program (RAP) is a day training service for people with developmental disabilities. RAP also offers Enhanced Services for people with physical therapy and other medical needs. RAP's Mobile Day Services.All services are designed to help people function as independently as possible. We provide support for people to access the community, enhance personal abilities, promote recreational and leisure interests, and develop work skills. Physical fitness activities such as swimming and exercising occur at the local health club and college. People using RAP services volunteer, work and patronize local stores and restaurants. RAP is funded by the Department of Developmental Services through the Redwood Coast Regional Center, licensed by the Department of Social Services, and co-sponsored by the Ukiah Unified School District Adult School.
