Details (Max 1000 characters):: Community Continuum College (C.C.C.) is an adult day training center, serving Developmentally Disabled adults and is licensed for an average daily attendance of no more than 110 students per day. The program is responsive to the specific individual developmental needs of students, either by providing direct service or by referring students to an appropriate source. The program concentrates on maximizing studentâ€™s physical, intellectual, emotional and social development. Since most of the studentâ€™s have utilized the communityâ€™s special education services, academic training is geared towards enhancing the individualâ€™s basic life survival skills. In order to serve this population, C.C.C. is designed in curriculum but also in facility structure to reflect an academic atmosphere for adults. The program is in operation five days a week, twelve months a year. Students attend the program six hours each day. The students participate in a home room and four elective classes daily. Each period C.C.C. offers ten separate classroom settings with a variety of curriculums and functioning levels to serve the individualâ€™s needs. Every four months classes change and new curriculum is introduced into the classroom setting.
