Details (Max 1000 characters):: The Cedars Community Challenges Day Program provides participants with a wide variety of opportunities for promoting personal growth, dignity, self-confidence and well-being. Participants choose their own curriculum based on their interests, gifts and talents. Caring staff members encourage and accompany each participant in developing their skills through community integration outings, field trips, volunteer work, physical fitness opportunities, expressive arts workshops, and periods of recreation. Individuals receive support to do their personal best in completing tasks and caring for other members of their group in order to develop a sense of teamwork and responsibility.
