Visiting HomeCare Service recognized the need for services in addition to home care. A Friend’s House" is a lively, home-like, social activity center for adults who are experiencing confusion, disorientation or memory loss due to aging, illness or social isolation. A Friend’s House provides men and women the opportunity to enjoy socializing, reminiscing, sing-alongs, craft projects, parties, nutritious lunches and snacks and many therapeutic activities designed to increase orientation and stimulate memory.
