Details: The Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging’s Adult Day Program is a PASSPORT-certified program designed to meet the needs of cognitively and functionally impaired older adults and to provide respite for caregivers. The Adult Day Program consists of structured, comprehensive, and continually supervised therapeutic and social activities that emphasize client choice and address the individualized needs of the persons served. The program is designed to help older adults with cognitive and functional impairments stabilize, increase, and/or sustain their highest level of functioning so that they can maintain the skills needed to live as independently as possible at home and in the community. The Adult Day Program has multiple funding sources and a sliding fee scale.
