Details: ADSSW - Curtis Center is a day program designed to enhance the quality of an individual’s life. Led by an experienced team we offer enrichment activities in the community that include trips for fun as well as educational and historical themed activities. These give the participant an opportunity to have social interaction with their peers as well as a true sense of community involvement. We offer arts and crafts, a vibrant music program, board games, book club, Wii activities, dancing and exercise, support groups and computer access. Our participants take part in frequent community outings such as regular visits to the YMCA, the humane society and pet shops. We are visiting places like the Milwaukee County Zoo, area museums and parks and libraries on a weekly basis. Some other things our group enjoys are fishing, bike riding, nature hikes, cooking, and bingo and group games. ADSSW – Curtis Center is fun, plain and simple.
