Create long-lasting friendships based on similar interests and desires. Recreational: Participate in community activities such as fairs, parks, movies, plays, malls, tours, bowling, fishing and picnics. Take part in on-site activities such as bingo, cards, daily exercise groups, cooking days, making crafts, and dances. Vocational: Have an opportunity to earn money (sub-minimum wage) by completing various tasks including recycling, shredding, birdseed, fire starters, and data entry. Learn skills related to personal care, socialization, communication and safety. In addition, specialized care skills, such as range of motion and tube feedings, can be provided upon request.
