Details: Good music sets the tone with familiar favorites of the 1940s, 50s, 60s and 70s. A good cup of coffee with a light snack to share local news starts the day for those attending all day. The Activity Club starts at 10a which focuses on 20 minutes of exercise with fun, ergetic routines designed for bodies that need a little extra care, with enough diversity to keep things fresh. Now that our bodies are awake and energized we work on projects to keep our hands and minds engaged, often things we can send home. We'll intertwine some cognitive kick-starters and trivia as well while we are working. After all this activity, we've worked up an appetite so it's time to relax and have a hot lunch from local businesses and restaurants, only the best and favorites for the discriminating diner here! The afternoon will slow down a little, allowing time for a brief rest and focusing on music, games and sensory stimulation. We will liven it up a little later with an afternoon themed snack and another round of physical activity, and did I mention Happy Hour on Fridays?
