Details: The Cedar Lake Enrichment Center (CLEC), an adult day health program, provides a person- centered, structured environment for individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities. CLEC offers a choice of scheduled classes with curriculum designed to enhance the quality of life. Vocational training and community inclusion are offered as well. The Direct Support Professionals strive for all 75 individuals currently in attendance to gain independence and continually grow, with a goal to maintain a staff to client ratio of 1:4, occasionally reaching 1:5. CLEC has nurses on staff that can serve both very high functioning individuals, as well as those who are medically fragile.
