Details: Leewood extends its model of care to adults in the community who, because of mental or physical impairment, are not able to be left alone during the day. It is a place of socialization where the effects of isolation can be prevented. Spending the day at Leewood means spending the day among new friends and a caring staff in a safe environment. Participants are offered supervised activities, peer support, companionship, recreation and some assistance with the activities of daily living. An individualized plan of care is developed by our team of professionals for each participant.
