At that point, Adult Day Services of Shelby County was established at Fair Haven. Our Adult Day Services Center was established at Fair Haven in 1985. The Center’s purpose is to promote the participants’ health, prevent illness and further disability, restore and maintain a maximum level of function and empower each individual to provide for themselves as best as they can achieve. The Adult Day Services of Shelby County provides respite as well as therapeutic and recreational activities for up to forty-three clients who are at risk of premature long-term placement.
