Details: Samaritan’s new Social Adult Day Care program is a social and recreational program for seniors to assist in maintaining independence. In keeping with its commitment to high quality care and services for seniors in the community, Samaritan is pleased to announce this new program, which: Improves an adult’s independence in an effort to maintain living in his/her own home; Provides opportunities to socialize, develop friendships and receive peer support; Maintains an adult’s present level of function, and prevents or delays further physical or mental deterioration; Helps eliminate loneliness; Provides respite for families and caregivers.
